Today was a day

Let me start off by repeating what the title says, today was a day.
My day started off with me waking up at 0300 because of some loud ass thunder, then woke up again around 0430-ish to loud thunder and some lightning and then my alarms started to go off around 0530 to get up/get ready for work. Pregnant and sleep deprived from a storm when you were actually getting sleep is not a good combination for the start of the day. So, after getting ready and going downstairs to make some breakfast, it turns out that my fridge has completely died on me. All of my frozen food and perishables in the refrigerator were ruined. (no breakfast for me before work)
I leave for work and when I arrived, I was the only one in the tool room so I started doing some shift turnover things that need to be done on each shift, beginning and end. I am supposed to do accountability of tools BUT instead of doing that like I thought that I was, I was actually turning in everything that was still currently signed out to people. So, I had to ask how I could fix that so if someone showed up to inspect the tool crib, we wouldn’t receive any failures due to the dumb pregnancy brain that was quite active at the moment. But wait, it gets better. I kept on dropping the tools and batteries for the tools as well as it being incredibly busy with everyone and their brother needing something from the tool crib today. I just started working the tool crib about a week ago. I do not know these tools, what they do (for the most part) or what they look like since I do not work in the ASM/Metal tech field. The stress was real today but I am thankful that the guys were really nice for the most part about describing/directing me to the correct tools, even though they were in a hurry to do their jobs.
The highlight of my day today will probably be me going to bed in an hour or so while i read on my phone or kindle, depending on which one is charged more.
That is all for my ranting today. I will try to make my next post be more mundane and positive instead of me being all gloomy and seemingly complaining about this and that.
